Come join us for a new annual Power of Solace fundraising event: Afternoon Tea & Cocktails with Live Music @ Looking Glass. Afternoon Tea will be provided by Brigit's Bakery in Covent Garden with live music throughout the event. All proceeds go directly to Solace Women's Aid.

Come learn about Solace Women's Aid and their flagship fundraisers - Racing Against Violence & Rock Against Violence.

There will be raffles, silent auctions, delicious welcome cocktails and drinks along with a wonderful selection of Afternoon Tea delights throughout the event. For those of you planning to come to Rock Against Violence, the super supporter ticket includes a free ticket to Rock Against Violence & a special design T-shirt designed by CA3, and 2 free drinks tickets on the night of RAV (worth extra £40!)

Even if Afternoon Tea isn't your cup of tea, there will be plenty of music and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks for you to enjoy throughout the event. You can check out our special guest artists - Wilford Social's songs here.

So please invite your friends and family and join us for an afternoon of fun at the Looking Glass. We are certain that you will enjoy this event!! (unfortunately no children under 18 are allowed due to bar restrictions)

More info on Wilford Social:

Wilford Social is Mark Wilkins (guitar and vocals), Bethie Hungerford (vocals), Andre Roese (bass), and Carlos Basilico (cajon and drums).

Mark’s musical background is in the rock and indie scene where he has played in bands at London’s dirtiest live venues. Bethie is from the other side of the musical tracks, where she trained as a classical singer specialising in Renaissance and Early Baroque music. Mark and Bethie have found a middle ground in writing and playing acoustic, harmony-driven songs which draw from a shared love of the singer-songwriter tradition. Wilford Social’s music has been described as “indie-folk” and a modern acoustic version of Fleetwood Mac. A debut album of original songs is on its way.
