The Power of the Black Vote

Unlock the transformative potential of the Black youth vote in shaping the future of Black

communities!!! Join us on May 16 th from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Legacy Centre of

Excellence for an electrifying evening that will ignite the power of the Black Youth Vote.

Prepare to be inspired by dynamic speakers and impassioned poets who will speak truth to

power.

This event isn’t just about rallying Black youth to the polls; it’s about amplifying their voices

and addressing the issues that matter most to them. From the streets to places of worship,

workplaces to trade unions, we’re mobilising Black youth to make their voices heard and

demand the change they deserve. Together, we will shape a 21 st century Britain that values

and uplifts Black communities.

This gathering will directly contribute to the development of “Black Britain's Mandate,” a

unifying force that aims to empower diverse voices within the Black community and exert

political influence. Our vision is clear: to rectify past injusticies and create a future where

justice, equality, belonging and inclusivity reign supreme.

Presented by the Birmingham Race Impact Group (BRIG) in partnership with the Legacy

Centre of Excellence, and supported by national organisations like the Black Equity

Organisation (BEO) and Operation Black Vote (OBV), this event is part of a larger movement

to combat racial and social injustices. Together, we will build meaningful platforms for real

change and ensure that the Black Voice for Change cannot be ignored.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of history in the making. Register now for the ‘Power of

the Black Vote’ event and exercise your hard-won democratic rights. Your vote is your voice,

and together, we will secure a brighter future for Black Britain.
