CIBSE Home Counties North West Region

We are a regional branch of CIBSE, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers - Registered Charity No: 278104.

CIBSE supports the art (including craft) and science of building services engineering.

HCNW Region has some 2200 members. The Region supports CIBSE Members with technical seminars, visits and screenings, amenable networking building up local communities of practice broadly in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, part of Surrey and part of London. The mix of capital and counties has worked well since 1995. The four Home Counties Regions work harmoniously, open to the public and other professionals.

The Region was innovative and successful with the Eventbrite platform, relying on volunteers to plan and arrange events, establishing local communities around the Region. From 2013, HCNW typically achieved some 800 bookings per year, about 12% from the general public.

However, from 14 May 2018, all Region newsletters, invitations, event bookings, updates, cancellations and enquiries are being handled by CIBSE, 222 Balham High Road, London SW12 0BS.

To receive those communications and keep in touch with the HCNW Region community and its events, simply register your details on the CIBSE website.
