Power Shift: Reimagining Manchester's Social Value

Power Shift: Reimagining Manchester's Social Value

By Young Manchester

Overview

Join us for a night of reimagining Manchester's social value with the youth - let's shift the power dynamics together!

The Power Shift, w/Youth

W/Youth is shifting power to young people, building a city with and for them. Manchester is the UK’s fastest-growing city economy - yet over 40% of young people live in poverty.

Our youth-powered consultancy helps businesses and public sector organisations co-create solutions with young people. Every pound earned is reinvested into youth services, paying young contributors a Living Wage and supporting their development. We’re on a mission to reinvest £1 million from Manchester’s economy directly into young people by 2026.

Join us on February 19th, 2026 at Manchester Museum for our launch event - an evening of connection, innovation, and youth-led problem-solving.

You will:

  • Hear directly from young people and businesses
  • Boost your social impact and create tangible solutions
  • Build your network with the future workforce or employers
