Powerboat Trips to TS Queen Mary
Sun 21 May 2017, 10:00 – 10:50 BST
We are delighted to announce that in partnership with SeaForce, we are offering a limited number of powerboat trips to TS Queen Mary (currently berthed at Glasgow Science Centre) on Sunday 21st May.
The trips are perfect for those who want to see (and photograph) Queen Mary from the water. You won't get a closer look any other way! The experience of being on a fast boat is also exhilerating and great fun!
Your trip starts at the Plantation Quay pontoon (by BBC Scotland). From there you quickly journey up-river (under three bridges) to the heart of Glasgow, to see where Queen Mary originally departed from; you'll get great views of Glasgow into the bargain! The trip brings you back along the Clyde, during which time you will be given an historical talk about Queen Mary.
You arrive back at TS Queen Mary and ample time is afforded so that photos can be taken from every angle. You'll get unparalled views of this great ship. Finally you disembark at the Plantation Quay pontoon.
Each trip is limited to 10 people.
There are no age or mobilty restrictions, so everyone is very welcome.
Tickets are valid only for the particular time slot booked and are non-refundable.
