Description

From a health and development perspective, ensuring universal access to modern energy services in health facilities in developing countries is an essential requirement for improving health and well-being. However, evidence about energy access and constant supply in health care facilities in developing regions is lacking.

Join Africa Alternative Energy Initiative in partnership with Energy Futures Lab-Institute of Imperial College London this September at Imperial College London for a forum on “Powering Africa’s Health Sector: Innovation, Access, and Investment.”

As we aim to advocate for distributed generation, with firm understanding and agreements from organisations as well as enabling off grid solutions as a means to achieving sustainable and accessible energy for all by 2030.

The Africa Alternative Energy Initiative Forum could not come at a more important time with energy being a natural enabler of economic growth and a driver of prosperity. As cooperation continue to strengthen between Africa and EU, investors and developers can capitalise on the scale of opportunity in developing economies.

A half-day forum on the challenges surrounding energy access and constant supply for health care facilities in developing regions.

Covering:

  • Innovation and investment

  • Access to modern energy services in health facilities in developing countries.

  • Alternative energy policies in Africa

  • Connection between renewable energy and sustainable economic growth

  • Africa’s renewable energy transition and climate change.

Panel 1 - Reviewing Alternative Energy Policies to increase investment and Innovation

Panel 2 - Investing in Africa's Renewable Energy - Country Focus

Don't miss out on the chance to joining the conversation on sustainable energy and the health sector for developing countries.

SPONSOR - PARTNER: Supporting the AAEI forum will be an opportunity to project the work of your organisation towards investing in Africa’s renewable energy sector and how they translate into combating poverty and climate change.
