About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Climate innovation is accelerating, but funding systems haven’t caught up.

Too often, promising solutions stall at the pilot stage or never reach the communities that need them most.

It’s time to change that.

At the heart of this conversation is Tencent’s CarbonX Program 2.0: a global initiative deploying over $1M USD in funding to support breakthrough technologies in carbon capture, removal, long-duration energy storage, and carbon-to-product innovation. Powered in partnership with the Impact Hub Network, CarbonX is designed to move ventures from concept to real-world impact.

This session will convene entrepreneurs, funders, and ecosystem players working to bridge the gap between climate ambition and climate capital.

We’ll explore where funding is most urgently needed, how to align finance with climate outcomes, and what it takes to turn bold ideas into investable opportunities.

You’ll also hear from on-the-ground leaders across energy, circularity, and community innovation, sharing insights on navigating the current funding landscape.

Whether you’re building, backing, or scaling climate solutions—this is a space to connect, learn, and unlock new possibilities.
