What's On?
Sponsor Slot: Stacey Phoenix - Cygnet Law.
We’re delighted to welcome Stacey Phoenix, an integral part of the Cygnet Law team. Stacey’s career has taken her from solicitor to Head of the Family Law department, before being appointed Director in 2019.
As a Family Solicitor, Stacey practises across all areas of family law, with a focus on child law and child protection. She is a member of the Children Panel, representing parents, kinship carers, grandparents, and children. She has extensive experience in complex cases including Parental Alienation, Implacable Hostility, abuse, FGM, and forced marriage.
Stacey is also a strong advocate for campaigns addressing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and for raising awareness of legal issues affecting LGBTQ+ relationships and parenting, including surrogacy and parental orders. Through the firm and personally, she actively supports local charities and local initiatives, helping to access the resources they need to serve the community.
With October marking Domestic Abuse Awareness Month, Stacey will focus her talk on raising awareness and understanding around these issues. While the subject is serious, her session will offer practical insights and reflections drawn from her wealth of experience
Special Guest: Sharon Sinclair Williams
We’re thrilled to welcome Sharon Sinclair-Williams, The Digital Gene. Sharon is a leading voice in digital wellbeing and is the author of the only public facing Carbon Literacy course for the digital and tech sector. Sharon brings fresh, practical insight to the growing challenge of digital overwhelm. She’ll guide us through how digital clutter affects not just productivity, but focus, creativity and the planet. She’ll show us how to make small but worthwhile shifts in our digital habits.
