This is the third session in the Creating Connections Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Training series.

About this event

This session is all about Research Champions and the Participant Experience. A Research Champion is a volunteer who wants to promote research in healthcare to other patients, members of the public, carers and to healthcare professionals.

This session has been co-designed by the NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria's Research Champions. The training will be presented by Justine Smith, Senior Strategic Manager for the NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria, and the Research Champions.

Creating Connections is a regional network for all those involved or interested in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE). Regular meetings allow those who have a role in PPIE in health and social care to meet and learn from others across the North East and North Cumbria region.
