The Three Minute Thesis competition challenges doctoral contestants to present a compelling spoken presentation on their research topic and its significance in just three minutes. This international competition gives our research students the chance to explain their thesis in a fast-paced and engaging format, share their research with the audience, and win prizes!
The PPLS School heat welcomes a full schedule of contestants, and the audience can get involved by voting for your favourite presentation at the end of the competition.
The competition is followed by a drinks and nibbles reception, where the winners will be announced. The top 2 contestants are guaranteed a slot at the College heat, and there will be a bonus prize for the People's Choice!
The competition will run from 14:00 - 15:30.
The reception will be open from 15:30 - 17:00.
