Pre-registration
We need all riders to pre-register so that we can manage numbers effectively and won’t have to turn anyone away once the coaching limit is reached.
Payment
Sessions are £4. Preferred payment will be cashless using our card reader, however we can take cash if you bring correct change to drop into the tin.
Bike preparation
The park has a variety of terrain such as woodland, open parkland and scrub, and while most bikes will be able to handle the terrain, knobbly tyres will be essential. There will be strictly no equipment or tools sharing so you must make sure your bike is well prepared. Please give your bike a good clean, check it over thoroughly and pump those tyres up!
Clothing
Parts of Stanmer Park are on a hillside exposed to the wind so please wear warm winter gear. Long fingered gloves are essential, two pairs of socks and a skullcap or similar under your helmet are advisable, plus plenty of layers on your body. If your hands, feet, head and core body are warm you'll have lots of fun but if any of these get cold then you may be miserable! If you bring a small rucksack then you can remove layers and keep them somewhere dry.
