Event description

Description

Proving the value of PR and communication matters. Company reputation is now worth £1.7 trillion to the UK but quarter of firms ignore it.

So how far have we come in demonstrating PR value and what do practitioners need to be thinking about for the future?

Here in the Wessex Region we are lucky to have two leading authorities in this field - Professor Tom Watson and Paul Noble. Tom and Paul have been educating students and PR practitioners since the early 1990s and they have been at the forefront of innovation and thinking about PR planning for the past two decades. They co-authored the book “Evaluating Public Relations” published by Kogan Page.

We decided to get them on stage together and ask them what we can learn from how practice has evolved and what practitioners should be doing today given that the media landscape is so changed and likely to keep changing.

So do come and join us at the gorgeous Hotel du Vin in Winchester. It will also be a great opportunity to network over drinks and a light buffet after the main event.

This event is being organised by PR Academy and the CIPR Wessex Group.
