PR & Media  - How to Make the Headlines

Get the media recognition your business deserves. Make the news rather than reading about it?

Join journalist and PR adviser, Ian Evans who’ll show you the shorts cuts and top tips to getting the publicity you deserve. You'll learn what newsdesks are looking for and the best way you can deliver it via a punchy, well-crafted press release.

Instead of looking on with envy at your rivals’ recognition, roll your sleeves up and learn from an expert the best way to get a bigger media profile.

You'll learn:

  • How to write an interesting and punchy press release
  • Who to contact and when
  • What news desks are looking for based on the six basic journalism questions of ‘who, what, when, where, why and how’
  • The best methods of physically delivering the press release
  • How to avoid being ignored by newspapers, magazine and broadcast media

By the end of the course, you will be armed with the tools to go seeking publicity.
