    About the trainer

    Veronika Jermolina - Consultant

Veronika has over 6 years experience in User Experience Design. Which she first discovered during her MSc in Business Analysis from City University London. Her usual projects involve researching customer needs and translating those needs into clever solutions – sketches, wireframes and prototypes. Veronika's recent clients have included Boots, VISA, easyJet and the BBC.

Veronika has recently led the UX stream of a design and development project for Marie Curie. The project included up-front research, such as workshops and depth interviews that led to personas, mental models and an experience map. Following that Veronika was the lead UX designer in the Agile development process, where each sprint started with ideation and wireframes and concluded with testing and team debrief.

Veronika loves International research and talking to people in their native language, be it English, Russian, or Spanish and, well, talking! She gets excited talking about airports and cultural differences. Veronika can also actively listen (nod and respond) in Catalan and occasionally tune in to a conversation in Estonian.

Veronika is an active member of the UX community and regularly attends and speaks at events. Her recent talks were at the UXPA UK, UCD2013 and UX Sheffield. She also gives an annual lecture on Inclusive Design to City University HCI master's students.

Veronika is the accessibility and inclusive design lead at Bunnyfoot. She teaches our Accessibility and Inclusive design and Usability testing courses. In her spare time she likes to stay on top of the latest ideas in UX and study related disciplines, like graphic design.
