Do you enjoy getting outdoors whatever the weather and want to make a difference at your local green space? Then come along to one of our Practical Conservation Volunteer sessions that take place every Wednesday of the month across our 8 Community Woodlands. This volunteer session will undertake a range of habitat management and access improvement tasks for people and nature across all the community woodlands that TCV South Yorkshire team manage.
Over the Autumn / Winter season we will be at Phoenix Park on.

Everyone is welcome to attend, no previous experience necessary as TCV staff will guide you through the activity. Under 18 year olds will need to be accompanied by a guardian / named responsible adult.
Please bring
- packed lunch
- suitable outdoor clothing for the task and weather
- suitable outdoor toe covered footwear
Meeting place
Further details on where to meet and confirmation of task will be sent out to everyone booked onto the session via Eventbrite at least 24hrs before the session is due to take place.
Site Session plan - there is a possibility that this may change if a priority job occurs.
The 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month will take place at one of our Barnsley sites (Pheonix Park (S63 0BD), New Park Springs (S72 8LQ), Ferrymoor Flash and Cudworth Common (S72 7BN))
The 2nd Wednesday of the month will take place at one of our Doncaster sites (Bentley Community Woodland (DN5 0PX) or Brodsworth Community Woodland (DN6 7FF))
The 4th Wednesday of the month will take place at one of our Rotherham sites (Kiveton Community Woodland (S26 6RP) or Dinnington Community Woodland (S25 4DY))
If there is a 5th Wednesday in the month this will be on one of the above 8 sites.
