Do you enjoy getting outdoors whatever the weather and want to make a difference at your local green space? Then come along to one of our Practical Conservation Volunteer sessions that take place every Wednesday of the month across our 8 Community Woodlands. This volunteer session will undertake a range of habitat management and access improvement tasks for people and nature across all the community woodlands that TCV South Yorkshire team manage.
The 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month will take place at one of our Barnsley sites (Pheonix Park, New Park Springs, Ferrymoor, Cudworth Common)
The 2nd Wednesday of the month will take place at one of our Doncaster sites (Bentley or Brodsworth)
The 4th Wednesday of the month will take place at one of our Rotherham sites (Kiveton or Dinnington)
If there is a 5th Wednesday in the month this will be on one of the above 8 sites.
Everyone is welcome to attend, no previous experience necessary as TCV staff will guide you through the activity. Under 18 year olds will need to be accompanied by a guardian / named responsible adult
Please bring
- packed lunch
- suitable outdoor clothing for the task and weather
- suitable outdoor toe covered footwear

Further details on where to meet and confirmation of the site will be sent out to everyone booked onto the session, 24hrs before the session is due to take place.
