Practical Digital Tools for SEN & Neurodiverse Learners
Overview
Practical Digital Tools for SEN & Neurodiverse Learners (Adults & Young Adults)
Ideal for SEN professionals, online tutors, student support staff, parents, and neurodivergent individuals looking for realistic, low effort support tools.
Supporting neurodiverse learners online can feel overwhelming, especially when traditional strategies don’t translate well to digital spaces.
This one-hour online session is focused entirely on practical tools and realistic strategies that reduce cognitive overload, support organisation, and improve task completion for both adults and children with additional learning needs.
There is no theory heavy content, everything shared is designed to be used immediately in real life learning, work, or study and sometimes even personal environments.
This session is ideal for:
SEN & learning support practitioners.
Online tutors, coaches, and mentors.
Student support & pastoral staff.
Teachers supporting learners remotely.
Parents/carers of neurodiverse children.
Neurodivergent adults wanting practical tools for study or work.
About the Host
S. BEAVAN
Adult Learning Specialist & SEN Support Practitioner
I work with neurodiverse learners across online education, apprenticeships, and adult learning. My background is in Education Studies and Special & Inclusive Needs, and I currently design and implement practical support plans for learners with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, and related needs. My approach focuses on reducing overwhelm, supporting executive function, and helping learners succeed using simple, realistic tools, not complicated systems that add more pressure. This session brings together tools I use daily with learners, coaches, and support teams working online.
