Description
Would you like to build up your practical experience and skills in gardening?
Would you like to learn about plants, pests, soil and garden techniques from first hand experience?
This is a rare opportunity to work alongside a trained horticulturalist, teacher and member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture in a beautiful four acre country garden near Chorley in Lancashire. The garden contains a wide range of ornamental borders, pond, hedges, shrubs, orchard, herb garden, vegetables garden and soft fruit cages.
During each weekly session we will work in the garden on seasonal tasks; which I will demonstrate and you will have time to practice. There will also be plant and weed identification opportunities from a wide range of plant material.
Sessions run on Thursday mornings 10.00am to 12.30pm for six weeks 15 September - 20 October.
