Practical Grievances Training – Employment Law Training
Overview
OVERVIEW
Grievances are rarely simply and tend to be thorny and multifaceted. We often see the employment relationship having already fractured before a grievance is raised. Therefore it is even more important to ensure you feel confident in these processes. There are too many examples of employers failing to follow their own processes or as a minimum, the ACAS Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures. With the scope to increase any Tribunal award by up to 25% for failure to do so, it is key that managers ensure they know how and why they must get these processes right.
The aim of this training session is to go through the relevant processes in depth focusing on the key elements of the investigation grievance meetings. This session is case study based and therefore practical and interactive in order to provide context and practical learning outcomes to take back to the workplace.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This practical session is suitable for both those who work in HR and line managers and it will provide them with the tools to conduct grievance processes with confidence.
