Would it be worth attending if I haven't used any AI's before?

Absolutely! This course is designed with beginners in mind. No prior experience with AI tools is required. We’ll guide you through the basics and show you how to use popular platforms like Copilot  and ChatGPT in practical, everyday scenarios. Diet plan, managing emails we'll cover it all.

Is it all going to be theoretical?

No, there will be a small element of theory to be able to appreciate how AI works and how to make it work for you. It'll be 75% practical and you'll walk away with some great gems to use going forward.

Do I need to create a log in or use profile for all the AI's or can I join and watch?

No login required to watch! You’re welcome to attend and observe without creating accounts for any AI tools. However, if you’d like to follow along with the practical examples or try things out during the interactive parts, having access to ChatGPT or Copilot would be helpful - but not critical.

How do I know which course is best to attend - the Introduction or the Development?

If you are comforatble creating prompts, refrencing files and managing data then I'd suggest to go straight for the Developmnent course. That said - at £100 getting a good grounding at the Introduction course is well advised even for the user who knows their way around the general AI tools.

Is this just going to cover spread sheets and emails?

No, it’s not just spreadsheets and emails! The course covers a wide range of practical uses—from planning and productivity to creativity and research. The course is created to adjust to the audience's needs. If the requests are for fitness plans and ways to save time then that wil be covered.

I haven't used Zoom before or Teams. How do I know I can join in?

Accepted Answer

Joining instructions will be shared with a dedicated link. This link will enable one user to join. You will be able to test it out before the day. Any problems you can ask questions on the website or reply to the link.

Do I need to speak in the meeting or can I just follow along.?

Accepted Answer

There will be a written chat in the live, people will be requested to put ideas and suggestions forward and ask questions - no-one will be forced to chat or speak if they aren't happy to do so.

Can I watch on my phone, what happens if my signal drops out?

Accepted Answer

Not a problem. Phones, tablets, laptops are all fine - as long as you can get an internet browser window up or have a windows account you'll be fine. Joining instructions will be sent out before the event for you to test connections.

I am very savvy on AI and want to learn about the coding and algorithms - is this covered?

This course focuses on practical use, not coding or algorithms. If you're already savvy with AI and looking for technical deep dives, this may not be the right fit—but it’s great for exploring real-world applications and tools.
