Disciplinary and grievance issues are governed by process. However, there are too many examples of employers failing to follow their own processes or as a minimum, the ACAS Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures. With the scope to increase any Tribunal award by up to 25% for failure to do so, it is key that managers ensure they know how and why they must get these things right.
The aim of the training session is to go through the processes in depth focusing on the key elements of the investigation and disciplinary meetings. However, we are focusing on demonstrating this to you in a practical manner. This session is case study based and interactive to provide context and practical learning outcomes to take back to your place of work.
This session would be good as a refresher for those who have attended our disciplinary and grievance line managers training previously or for those who prefer example based learning.
