Come and learn all about how some of the plants of Far Ings can be used for practical purposes. We will be heading out on a guided walk through the nature reserve to idetntify plants and trees and find out more about their properties, uses and folklore. We will also have a go at making some interesting items to take home.

A Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve, Far Ings is situated on the south bank of the Humber Estuary, a major east-west flyway for migrating birds. The sight and sound of a skein of geese flying over is truly spectacular.

Events at Far Ings include guided walks, indoor talks, Wildlife Watch (our nature club for 6-12 year old's), Junior Wardens (an introduction to conservation for young teens), pond dipping, nature trails and much more.
