We are excited to offer a brand-new training series in partnership with the University of Cumbria, delivered by Dr Tom Grimwood, Professor of Social Philosophy. Our sessions are designed to build practical skills and support real-world application of evidence in your everyday work.
The 29th September session is a practical research review with Tom on homelessness and multiple disadvantages faced by communities in Cumbria. You are also very welcome to bring your research questions with you for this session.
Designed to support council staff, elected members and community organisations, this session covers:
- putting together your own toolkit of techniques for service evaluation
- also consider issues surrounding ethics and governance in evaluations
- know where to access further resources and support for evaluation
This training is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and free to participants.
