Are any other costs incurred?

In order for your child to register with AQA and receive their certificate, there is an additional one-off fee of £30 which must be paid via bank transfer after your child has completed their first session. Should you enrol your child on an additional course, you will not incur this charge again.

How are lessons delivered?

Each course includes five 45 minute lessons that are delivered over Microsoft Teams. Prior to each session, we will email you a link to gain access to the session. Your child must have access to a computer with the Teams function.

When will my child receive their certificate?

We cannot guarantee a date, but AQA will usually send out certificates within four weeks of your child's work being submitted.

Will my child be required to be on screen?

Whilst we understand that some children do not like to appear on the screen, we do encourage active participation and will require your child to be camera whilst we complete an initial register. If your child does not want to leave their camera on, we require them to give verbal or chat responses.

Finish the Year Strong! AQA Unit Awards for Home Learners

Leading Futures are excited to launch a series of online courses for home educated learners, enabling them the chance to achieve a range of AQA Unit Awards and certificates.

Who: Home-educated learners, aged 11+.

What: A short, engaging online course resulting in a AQA Unit Award Certificate.

When: 9-9.45am, Monday 1st December to Friday 5th December. Just 45 minutes per day for 5 days!

Where: Online – join from the comfort of your home.

Why: Build skills, confidence, and a nationally recognised award.

How: Interactive lessons, taught by experienced teachers.

What Will My Child Learn?

The meaning of the term 'self-care'
A range of self-care activities that can help them feel relaxed and recharged
The meaning of the terms 'stress' and 'anxiety'
How to articulate their worries
To identify their hopes and fears for the future
Different relaxation techniques and how effective they are for themselves

Requirements:

Upon booking, we will contact you for information regarding your child.
Lessons will be held via Microsoft Teams and a link will be sent to you in advance of each session. (Therefore your child must have access to a computer with a Microsoft Teams function.)
Your child must say hello at the start of each session (in order for a register to be taken).
Your child must be visible via a webcam (at least initially during the session).
Your child will be required to submit completed work via email.
You must consent to sessions being recorded.

Just £50 per course

(Plus a one-off £30 AQA registration fee - payable via BACs after completion of the first session. Should you order additional courses, this fee would not be payable again!)

Your child will recieve their certificate within four weeks of course completion.
