About this event

These practical volunteering sessions run throughout the autumn and winter months and cover a range of activities from plug and tree planting, reedbed maintenance and path maintenance. They are a great opportunity to meet likeminded people, while helping support Gosforth Nature Reserve, the nature reserve in the North East!

Please wear old clothing you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy boots. Always a good idea to bring wellies too, just in case!

Under 16s welcome but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Please note in the event of really bad weather or high winds, this session cannot go ahead as the reserve will be clsoed for safety. If in doubt, please check our website under 'Visit Gosforth Nature Reserve' for updates.
