It takes both courage and skill to find the inner strength and balance necessary to keep our eyes, ears, minds, and hearts open to the intensity and immensity of joys and sorrows in our lives and world. This special workshop, with two leaders in the global mindfulness and compassion movements, will introduce you to a blend of meditation practices to keep your heart open to embrace and compassionately respond to your life with deeper wisdom, creativity, and love. You’ll learn practical methods for developing heart-mindfulness, drawing strength from connectedness, lovingkindness and compassion meditations. Drawing insight from recent discoveries in neuroscience research, Dr Joel & MIchelle Levey will also help us understand the powerful distinction between empathy - which can overwhelm us - and compassion - which is a profoundly healing force in our lives and world.
“Joel and Michelle Levey are presently engaged in work that has great prospects for bringing the inner sciences of human development and transformation to a very wide section of people.”
