About this Event

What support is needed by families of people serving indeterminate IPP sentences, in order to facilitate successful resettlement in the community?

This event focuses on the experiences and expertise of criminal justice practitioners, in order to elucidate best practice and drive change. It will bring together relevant practitioners to debate and discuss the Findings and Recommendations emerging from a collaborative project between Southampton Law School and the Prison Reform Trust on ‘Enabling the Contribution of Families to the Resettlement of People Serving IPPs’ (report to be published in October 2019).

Attendees

This workshop is for local criminal justice practitioners. It will be invitation-only to enable free and open discussion. It is expected to include practitioners working in: prisons, probation, parole; with other relevant individuals/groups including relevant lawyers, charities and volunteers.
