Event description

Description

NSPCC Cymru/Wales are delivering an interactive workshop for professionals across sectors to share best practices in recognising, listening and responding to disclosures of abuse made by children and young people.

NSPCC have developed a practical resource that will support adults to interact with children and young people during a disclosure conversation. The resource aims to increase professionals’ confidence in dealing with disclosures.

In the workshop, you will have an opportunity to hear about the latest research on children’s experiences of disclosing abuse, and the development of the project and resource aimed to support professionals during a disclosure conversation. There will also be an opportunity to help shape next steps for the project, by inputting ideas for further supporting professionals around recognising, listening and responding to disclosures of abuse.
