About this event

  • 45 minutes

God loves you unconditionally, no strings attached. That’s the good news. Nothing we do can make God love us more – but it can help us realise how deeply we are loved by God. We respond to God's love in Christ through the way we live our lives.

Being a disciple is like taking a train journey between twelve stations, one of which is the Pray station.

God loves spending time with you. Don't overcomplicate it. God's there and is a perfect companion.

Join us for a webinar to explore together how we can pray, and look for the links between the Pray station and the other eleven.

This session is part of a monthly series exploring A Methodist Way of Life, but there is no need to have attended previous sessions. They are designed to be small gatherings for the sharing of stories, reflections and ideas. At the end of the 45 minutes we will stay on the call until everyone has had a chance to hear their questions answered.

Can't make the time? We're hosting another session at 10.00 on the same day.

The Centred in God strategic area of God For All focuses on deepening the discipleship of Methodist people and lays a foundation for God For All as a whole. It aims to inspire and equip Methodists to:

  • Grow in the grace of God given in Jesus and experienced in the life of the Holy Spirit, able to discern the leading of the Holy Spirit within the church and beyond.
  • Be rooted and grounded in constant, faithful prayer, expecting God to be present.
  • Make “Our Calling” a lived reality, particularly through a Methodist Way of Life.
  • Live intentionally as disciples of Jesus in the world in everyday life.
  • Be confident in their knowledge of God’s love for them, for others and for the world.
