Sales Have Ended
A series of three pre- and just post-assessment workshops for parent/carers of children and young people who may have autism, or who have just been diagnosed as autistic.
These free, two-hour workshops are open to all parents/carers who live in the West Berkshire, Reading or Wokingham council areas who:
Have a child who is on the waiting list to be assessed for autism OR
Have a child who has just been diagnosed as having an Autism Spectrum Condition AND
Have NOT previously attended a Time Out from Autism course with Parenting Special Children (PSC)
Please note that these workshops are designed specifically for parents/carers with little to no understanding of autism, and as such are not appropriate for those parents/carers who have previously attended courses on autism.
Parents/carers should attend the Introduction to Autism workshop first, and it is recommended that parents attend all three workshops in the series.
Each workshop will be led and delivered by two experienced Parenting Practitioners from Parenting Special Children.
