About this training:

The PRAM is a multi-agency forum which considers identified unborn children who may be at risk following birth, and puts in place action and support for families prior to the birth of the child. This training aims to raise professionals’ awareness of this forum.

Aims of this training:

  • Increase awareness of the PRAM processes in Angus (who is involved, and why?).

  • To clarify the links between the PRAM and NHS Tayside Unborn Baby Protocol.

  • To ensure staff are aware which unborn children should be referred to the PRAM to ensure consistency of referrals and appropriate thresholds for referrals.

  • Staff understand the importance of the agency participation in the process.

Target audience:

This training will be relevant for all staff or volunteers who work with children, young people and their parents and who need to be aware of the Angus Child Protection Committee interagency protocol and Angus Child Protection Committee Pre-birth Resource Allocation Meeting protocol.
