Please make sure we are aware of any relevant medical conditions or allergies and declare this on your Eventbrite booking. If your child does have an allergy, you will be required to complete a medical form on the day.

If the person attending has been affected or has been involved in a road traffic collision, please make us aware via the booking form.

If you do not wish to be included in any photographs or video’s, please ensure you indicate this on the Eventbrite booking form. The driving element of the course is a session with an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), in a dual-controlled vehicle. This driving session takes place on the track and in the paddock area of Mallory Park. A safety briefing will be given before the session begins.

All ADI’s have a valid Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) certificate.

The course will begin at 09:00. Please arrive no later than this time.

Places are “first come first served” and no booking is confirmed without payment.

Upon arrival at Mallory Park please observe speed limits and follow signage for the Pre-Driver Day. Go through the gate which is signed Pre-Driver Day and follow into the car park. Once parked you will need to walk over the footbridge, again following signage to the grey building, where staff will greet you.

When collecting please use the same gate and parking facility. Wait outside the grey building until the course has finished at 16:00 and exit using the same route.

The person attending the course, nor those dropping attendees at Mallory Park must not enter the track area under any circumstances either on foot or in a vehicle. The track may only be entered as part of the course with an ADI.

All attendees are required to stay on site from 09:00–16:00. LCC staff, ADI’s or Mallory Park staff are NOT responsible for any attendee who leaves the site without prior authorisation. If this situation arises LCC staff will contact the next of kin given on the booking form.

Those dropping attendees at Mallory Park are not authorised to stay at Mallory Park whilst the course is in progress. Unless permission has been granted.

Some elements of the course, namely the presentation by Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) is hard-hitting and designed to show attendees the very real dangers of driving. This section shows footage from real Road Traffic Collisions. Whilst we urge all attendees to take part in this section, however, it has, on occasion caused some upset amongst some attendees.

If you have any queries relating to the T’s & C’s above, then please contact the Road Safety Team on 07563 800566 or roadsafety@leics.gov.uk
