Our Pre-Placement Workshops (PPW) are for supervisors who will be supporting Plymouth DClin trainees on placement in the coming academic year.
The aims of the PPW are to equip you as supervisors with the information you need to support trainee placements, to give you the chance to ask any questions you may have, to share updates about the Plymouth programme, to get to know colleagues in our community of practice and, perhaps most importantly, to eat biscuits*.
The morning will follow the below schedule:
9.30-10.00: Arrivals and chatting
10.00-11.15: PPW Part 1
11.15-11.30: Break
10:30-12.30: PPW Part 2
12.30-13.15: Lunch (bring your own, I’m afraid!)
13.15-14.30: Optional Q&A and placement paperwork walk through
The Zoom PPW will take place on Friday 10th October and is offered for those unable to attend either face-to-face workshop. The Zoom workshop will be recorded, and the recording will be available on our supervisor web page.
*Please note that, owing to the restrictive laws of Newtonian physics, it is not possible to provide refreshments to attendees of the Zoom meeting.
