This year, ‘a space’ arts are hosting a Pre-Pride Weekender at GHT, in partnership with Southampton Pride, to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and their many creative accomplishments.

How it Works

You’ll find out what film you’ll be watching when you arrive and we’ll be asking viewers to rate the film as well as to contribute to a blind vote for next months viewing.

What to expect on the night

The doors to GHT will open from 6pm and the bar will be open for you to buy drinks and snacks. The screening will begin around 6.30pm. After the screening there will be some time for you to review, chat and leave your suggestions for next months screening!

What to bring

Seating will be informal with only a few chairs available, so we’d recommend bringing a cushion if you’re taking to the floor. Layers are also recommended as GHT can get cold at night!

This event is totally free to attend and we’ll be operating a ‘pay what you feel’ system at the end of the night. If you have a good night and can spare a few pounds we’d really appreciate it. You can also support by buying drinks and snacks at the bar! All funds raised will help us keep these events free and will help to build a community around these events of people who love good indie film!

We’ll ALSO be collecting for Southampton Pride. If you’d like to add a donation please ask a member of crew at the front desk or the bar.
