"Ability is the player being able to execute a varied set of technical proficiencies with the ball"

"Skill is the talent to perform game related technical competencies, in competitive situations, under pressure"

This Soccer Workshop Focuses on the Ability of the Player to complete 3 ability components timed and scored.

Each player has three opportunities to accomplish each drill, if successful the player moves to the next level.

There are 3 components of ability at each level, the workshop consists of 5 levels.

Players compete to progress through the levels, if unsuccessful the players are scored at the last completed level and drops out – players who are successful at each level progress to the final levels.

Players are expected to practice and retest over consecutive testing periods, practice should see the players improve further through the levels.

These programs are designed to improve a player’s control and technical ability, it also promotes fast foot work and competency with a ball.

Advanced Scientific and Technical Pathway for Soccer Players

Our research with Stirling University has included the collection of valid data over eighteen-months, during this period we have testing over a thousand players and have collected over 10,000 data sets. This knowledge and expertise now forms part of an evidence based methodology for the use in player development.

Our methodology allows a multidiscipline approach to player development.

18 Months of Qualitative and Quantitative data collection and research, Soccer PDP are now able to provide a measured and advanced approach to soccer player development. Our partnership with Stirling University will track players performance and improvements over ten years in some cases. Where we differ, is in our ability to collect large data sets from players performance and assessments, with all research carried out at the university. Our programs are evidence based and not opinionated, we use attribute benchmarking, professional observations and development to ensure each player, coach and parent is self aware to the true potential of an individual. Our methodology does not leave" player development to chance", after a process of accurate measurement, focused development can then be used to support positive outcomes.

If you want to provide yourself, or your child with the most advanced soccer development opportunity "to be the best they can be" then sign up to Soccer PDP.
