Salford City Mayor Paul Dennett and Dr Lisa Scullion, Associate Director at the Sustainable Housing & Urban Studies Unit (SHUSU) University of Salford would like to invite you to the launch of a report which explores lived experiences of the private rented sector in Salford. The report represents the first research project of the Salford Anti-Poverty Taskforce; a research and knowledge exchange partnership between Salford City Council and the University of Salford providing high quality research and analysis to support Salford’s new Anti-Poverty Strategy.

We would greatly appreciate your participation at the event, to begin to explore more about the lived experience of being a ‘private renter’ in Salford, and how living in this tenure can intersect with other vulnerabilities such as health problems, low paid and insecure employment and experiences of the benefits system.

Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided at the event. The launch is free to attend, but places are limited.

For directions to the University, please see our website.
