The PRECIOUS Awards was founded in 2007 to celebrate and applaud the professional and entrepreneurial achievements of women of colour in the UK.
PRECIOUS Nights is a monthly event that gives you the opportunity to hear previous winners share the highs, lows and lessons of their business journey, give actionable tips and advice.
It's about connecting and community in a unique atmosphere of collaboration and motivation. Come and be inspired and build your network with new contacts and friends, especially in these time of social distancing!

Arit s a multi-award winning entrepreneur, career and leadership coach who helps businesses to recruit and retain talent and empowers people to realise their full potential in careers they enjoy.
She does this through DiVA an award-winning recruitment and training organisation specialising in creative, business, and digital apprenticeships, which she founded. Over the last decade, she has worked with well-known entertainment media brands including All3 Media, Sony Music, the BBC, Warner Music, Universal Music, Endemol Shine, Warner Bros, BMG, Sony ATV, the Southbank Centre, and many more. She also developed, in partnership with the BPI/BRIT Trust, the BRITs Apprenticeship scheme, funded by proceeds of BRIT Music Awards, which supports the next generation of music executives, and the UK Music Apprenticeship programme.
Arit holds an MA in Executive Leadership Development and Mentoring. As a Career Development & Leadership coach, she works with women who are looking to change careers or move into senior-level roles and delivers customised staff training programmes for employers.

Rashida Abdulai
Rashida is the founder of Strand Sahara, an online legal platform for entrepreneurs of African descent in the UK and on the continent.
With a focus on start-ups and SMEs, they provide the world-class business legal support needed to scale up and build the African corporate giants of tomorrow, using technology to make those services easily accessible and affordable. Before Strand Sahara, Rashida was an international arbitration specialist at global law firm Hogan Lovells, where she represented some of the world’s largest corporations in high-value, complex disputes.
She is regularly invited to present on topics relating to the future of legal services, including the International Bar Association, the University of Oxford, and the African Union.
Rashida won the Outstanding Woman in Professional Services Award at the 2020 PRECIOUS Awards.
Sanchia Alasia
Sanchia Alasia is the former mayor for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
She was elected to the Council in 2010 and was the first of three Black women to be elected there.
She is an award-winning specialist in Equality, Diversity and Human Resource she currently works at London Southbank University as their Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
She’s an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
Sanchia won the PRECIOUS Outstanding Woman in the Public Sector Award in 2020.
Camille Johnson
Camille is a product-based business expert and is the founder of two businesses. Pink Lingerie is a specialist lingerie, swimwear and clothing e-commerce site for women following breast cancer surgery. Camille launched the business in 2010 following her mums negative experiences trying to find stylish products that suited her needs.
Camille has a background in buying, merchandising and operations management within the beauty and retail industry. In her 20 years of experience she has worked with some of the worlds biggest brands while working for leading UK high street retailers within head office teams and for niche skincare brands.
Her business MCJ Consultancy is a platform to help product-based businesses to increase sales and customer retention. Started because she wanted to share her knowledge and stop commuting into London on a daily basis and work on her own terms.
Camille won the Precious Hidden Gem award in 2011.
