There is something that the old church understood about travailing, wailing, groaning, and waiting on the lord, that I believe has been overlooked today. Perhaps not as popular in this “microwave” day and age or something we associate with our grand parents generation. They lay there until healing, breakthrough, anointing, power, revival or deliverance came and they were not moved. They prayed until that family member was saved, an ungodly spirit could not even dwell in their midst, let alone amongst the people of God. They were up night and day crying out to God. For some this will be a new experience, others an opportunity to contend further, whilst for many the process has just been draining, we know what we ought to do, we just haven’t had the energy. Giving birth is excruciating, unbearable, unimaginable and whilst on the other side lies a blessing, the process is painful.

Scripture makes it clear that as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children (Isaiah 66:8)

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Travailing is a requirement of every believer desiring to truly live a life in the supernatural. To pray in the spirit without ceasing, with utterings and groanings. We have never “arrived” in this constant pursuit of Christ, and there is always different dimensions to unlock hence the need to travail and contend (Romans 8:22-23). The whole of creation is groaning to see the fulfilment of what God has said come to pass. I desire to see miracles, signs and wonders, I desire to see the manifestation of all that God has said concerning my life, the lives of those around me and for the nations. Destiny is not just about one person, its about nations and generations to come!

Sometimes we get tired mid push, half way or get so discouraged with the pain, attacks and challenges of life that we give up or stay still. But God himself will contend with those that contend against us, we just need to remain in the in the push. Wherever you are on your journey, this event is for you! Fresh fire, Fresh wind, fresh revival and fresh word! Join us as we push past limitations, push past cycles, push past disappointments, push past brokenness, push forth breakthrough, push forth purpose and push forth the next season.

Prepare to press in and dig deep as we travail together in prayer and fasting , seeking the lord’s face and unlocking new dimensions. Whatever has been holding you back, whatever has stood in the way of you and the fullness of God, we are pulling it down full force. This is not just another conference, its a movement, we are contending with the prophetic words spoken over our lives. Whatever you are looking for is in the travail, for the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence but the violent take it by force!
