Europa 2017: The Bronze Age as Pre-modern Globalisation
The Prehistoric Society Europa Conference 2017 The Bronze Age as Pre-modern Globalisation will be held at the University of Southampton from 23–24 June 2017. This year the conference celebrates the achievements of Professor Helle Vandkilde, University of Aarhus, in the field of European prehistory. Confirmed speakers include: Karin Margarita Frei, National Museum of Denmark; Philipp W. Stockhammer, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München; Johan Ling, University of Gothenburg & Lene Melheim, University of Oslo; Jo Sofaer, University of Southampton; Kristian Kristiansen, University of Gothenburg; Mads Holst, Moesgaard Museum; Marie Louise Stig Sørensen, University of Cambridge; Svend Hansen, DAI-Eurasien Abteilung Berlin; Catherine Frieman, Australian National University; Ben Roberts, University of Durham.
