Prehistory day for Home Education children
Event Information
About this Event
During this session your children can compare their modern lives to how they would have lived and worked back then. Young learners will see, first-hand, how our ancestors have adapted and developed new survival skills and how these have been incorporated into modern technology. Depending on the weather the activities to support the learning can include archery, fire lighting, tanning of animal skins, willow weaving and flint knapping
“We found staff at the centre extremely welcoming and supportive of the home educating community, which created confidence in families. Andy and his team were so knowledgeable and the supporting activities and games really embodied the learning.”
Kat – Home Educator Ringwood
