For the past 12 months, young people from LGBT Youth North West have been trained in research skills, interviewing activists from the LGBT Community. These activists have campaigned, educated and empowered themselves and others for the last 5 decades, in Manchester and Beyond. These stories have been compiled into the book Prejudice and Pride: LGBT Activist Stories from Manchester and Beyond. On 28th February at the People's History Museum in Manchester, there will be an opportunity to meet the activists, learn from the LGBT archives, and buy the book. There will be guest speakers, and light refreshments will be served. This is a free event, but please register for a ticket.
