In this pulsating sci-fi thriller, a group of troubled young offenders are sent to a secretive facility offering cutting-edge AI-driven treatment as an alternative to prison. Proudly filmed in Nottingham by a passionate homegrown cast and crew, including Television Workshop alumni Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us) as the voice of the AI system, The Correction Unit explores themes of disillusionment, morality, free will and the role of artificial intelligence in education. A large number of the young actors involved in the film were street cast, giving them an opportunity to explore themes and issues that have impacted their real life.
