As the Premises Responsible Person you have a duty to manage the day to day health and safety within your premises. We provide face to face training to ensure you understand your role in meeting legislative requirements.

Learning objectives

    • Understanding your role and responsibilities

    • knowledge of health and safety legislation and guidance that affects day to day operations

    • gain information on asbestos, fire management and electrical risks

    • discover your responsibilities regarding water hygiene and confined spaces

    • an understanding of the process for control of contractors

    • know how to use the premises log book and general housekeeping requirements

    • learn about the Landlords Consent process and the Service Level Plans (SLP) provided by Vertas
