Prendergast Sixth Form Open Evening 2016
We would like to invite you to attend the Open Evening for our flourishing Sixth Form. Applicants, parents and carers will have the opportunity to meet current Sixth Formers, tour our state-of-the-art new buildings and refurbished listed building on Hilly Fields and listen to a Welcome Address from the new Headteacher, Paula Ledger and our Head of Sixth Form, Stephen Capon.
By registering for this event, we will also be able to invite you to join our programme of Enhanced Taster Sessions with Subject Leaders in the Summer Term 2017.
Prendergast Sixth Form is the right choice for you if you want to attain your academic best. Our students achieve excellent grades at A level and gain places at Oxbridge, Russell Group and top Research Intensive universities. They also flourish in the Creative Arts, progressing to centres of excellence for Foundation Art and Design, Fashion, Architecture and Media Studies.
They benefit from individual help and guidance from staff who are enthused by education and take a full interest in their progress and welfare. We actively encourage our students to take part in extra-curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and our annual trip to Rome.
As an alternative to tertiary education, students also progress straight to the world of work as Higher Level Apprentices or onto prestigious School Leaver Programmes in the financial services industries. We are proud that our students leave at 18 as well rounded and successful young adults ready to take on the challenges of independent studies in further education or make their first steps on their personal Career Pathways.
