Preparation for Parenthood Online Mar 2026
Overview
'Preparation for Parenthood' is a 6-week antenatal group that supports all expectant parents from 20 weeks of pregnancy to birth.
It helps families give a healthy start in life to babies and young children by providing practical support and information.
We will cover a range of topics, including:
- 👫 Becoming a parent
- 🍏 A healthy pregnancy -(healthy start for babies before and after pregnancy, being active, healthy diet and what to eat during pregnancy)
- 🤍 Bonding with baby (Baby’s brain development, building the bonds)
- 👶 Caring for baby - (Safety, bathing, sleep and soothing a crying baby)
- 🎒 Giving Birth-(Feelings, power of hormones, birth process and what to pack)
- 🤱 Life after birth

Who is it for?
For those who are at least 20 weeks pregnant and their birth partners or other supportive adult. Suitable for first-time parents or those looking for a refresher.
Please note:
These sessions are for parents/carers and other adult family members only.

Tickets must be booked for each individual attending the course. If you are bringing a partner or other family member, book them a ticket too.
