About this event
Caring4Elders provides bespoke training to help employees manage and enjoy being a carer of elderly people. Feedback from employers confirms this supports staff well-being and helps reduce stress. Our clients include Arup, AstraZeneca, Cambridge University and Addenbrookes Hospital.
To celebrate Carers Rights Day 2021, we are offering a 45 minutes taster session to UK HR, Well Being and Occupational Health Professionals keen to support their employees. We will be sharing our innovative ‘Final 15’ framework which uses 5 complementary topics to help employees think through and plan their role in supporting those approaching their final years.
1 in 8 carers are in paid employment and many give up work or reduce their hours because of the stresses and strains of balancing working life and caring. For employers this means a very high number of workers are juggling additional responsibilities. Often they will be more mature workers who may be in senior roles and have years of training and experience invested in them. They may be facing a period in their life when they have become involved in caring for their parents or newly become grandparents. Greater instances of home-working create challenges for employees in managing multiple roles and for employers in ensuring employees can access the support they need.
The Final 15 Framework provides a clear roadmap for employees to follow, helping them achieve work-life balance, avoid crisis situations and manage their dual role. For employers, providing understanding and targeted support from Caring4Elders can make all the difference to retaining a skilled workforce.
