Description

In this workshop Edinburgh Food Social chef, Mike Barnard, will take you through one of his favourite topics, an introduction to sellfish.

In this introductory session we'll cover the basics of shellfiish seasonality, as well as buying, cooking and preparing shellfish. We'll impart the conidence to ensure that you can understand how to do it at home or how your trusted fishmonger prepares your orders.

We'll cover preparing and cooking crab, lobster, and devaining prawns, and finally we'll cook up some mussels in a Thai broth for lunch! You'll head home with increased knowledge on the subject as well as crab and prawns for supper!
