About this Event
This FREE workshop will be led by Dr. Carol Robinson from the national Preparing for Adulthood team who are funded by the Department for Education.
Arrive 9.30 for a 10am start prompt.
The workshop will help you to think about how to support your young person to have a good life once they reach adulthood.
The day will look at the following:
- Routes into employment/occupation
- Independent living/housing
- Friends, relationships and community inclusion
- Achieving good health.
There will be an opportunity to think about outcomes: how they are used in Plans when we are thinking about how to achieve good life outcomes.

A. Yes - we will provide a cold buffet lunch - please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

This is a one off event with limited capacity: please note that only one ticket per household is available.
Priority will be given to parent carers who did not attend the Disability Rights UK events in October.
This workshop will not provide planning for individual young people.
