Event description

Description

Many parents contact us, worried about their child’s transition to adulthood and what to expect in terms of legal rights, processes and provision. On behalf of Bucks SEND IAS Service, Sharon Forgan will be delivering another of her popular training sessions for Buckinghamshire parents aimed at reducing these concerns. Sharon is a highly experienced trainer, former health professional and mother of a teenaged student with a disability. This course is aimed at making parents and carers aware of how they can assist their child to prepare for life beyond the age of 16. Attendance is ideal for the parents or carers of children and young people who are aged 10 to 25.

The training features activities, visual aids and opportunities for discussion.

This event is aimed at Buckinghamshire parents and carers who have not attended this type of workshop before. Please note that priority will be given to those who have not previously attended. If you have already attended this workshop please contact us to discuss your on-going training needs.

This workshop is not suitable for children to attend.
