Preparing for Audition is a full one-day workshop where you can get tuition in what to expect from drama school auditions and gain one-to-one help with your prepared pieces.
Taking place on a Saturday, this one day workshop from Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) is perfect if you're looking to apply for an acting course at a professional drama school such as BSA.
You'll be expected to work and remain focused throughout the day and this will reflect some of the intensity of concentration and energy needed to get through a workshop recall audition or indeed an average day in a drama school.
At the end of the day's workshop, you'll then be taken to catch a performance by students from Birmingham School of Acting.
There is no age restriction on this course.
"I found [the workshop] very informative and useful having feedback on audition material and outlining the general process. It is useful for anyone considering to go to drama schools and it helped put my mind at ease and to understand the rough programme for the audition day. David Vann who ran the work shop was very clear and helpful and his knowledge of the industry was reflected throughout the day."
